Confirmation Page Setup

Note: All instructions assume that you are logged into OpenWater as an admin, and that you are starting on your instance dashboard.

Your confirmation page allows you to provide a confirmation of submission to your submitter. For most conference clients, this will be a place to reaffirm deadlines and give information to submitter about reviewing procedures.

  • Render Confirmation Text from WYSIWYG

    This option allows you to enter your confirmation text in the What You See Is What You Get editor. This is easy for simple text information, although you are also able to insert variables.

    • Confirmation Text

      This editor will allow you to enter the content for your confirmation page.

  • Render Confirmation Text from Template

    This option allows you to use the Handlebars templating engine to build your confirmation page. This allows you to have a more comprehensive confirmation page.

    • Manage Template

      This editor allows you to edit the Handlebars template for your confirmation page.

  • Social Sharing

    There is a tab at the top of the setup. This allows you to setup the ability for submitters to share their submission on social media after submitting. Typically we do not recommend this for conferences, unless there is a 100% acceptance rate.
